Will the no-smoking policy affect the casinos in France ?

smoking-france

Smoking is an unhealthy habit and you would be hard pressed to find anyone who says it’s not. However, there are many thousands of smokers who argue that it is their right to smoke and while this may be true, smoking bans in many public buildings is becoming the norm. This has come to include many casinos and other gambling rooms. The question many French casino owners have to ask themselves is does the ban hurt their business. To answer that question, you have to look at players and their habits.

While not every player in a casino drinks, many do and unfortunately, many of them smoke as well. Some people only smoke while they are drinking alcohol or gambling. This means that if they are not able to smoke in the casino, they will most likely not play there. Many will seek out places that have not banned smoking or simply choose to play online in the privacy of their own homes.

How much money should you plan on spending?

dollar

If you are working on your next vacation budget and you are making your first trip to the casino, you may wonder how much you should include for your gambling fun. There is definitely not a perfect answer to this question; however, you can get an idea of how much based on many factors, such as those included below.

The first thing you have to consider is the games you think you are going to play. If you know you only want to play the slots, you should also decide if you want to play a long time by playing nickel slots or play less but have a chance to win larger payouts on the bill machines. Or, you can go in the middle and play the quarter machines. However, you also have to keep in mind that you can bet more than one credit, so if you are on a quarter machine and you are betting 8 credits, that’s $2 per hand. You can play a hundred hands (or at least 50) in an hour easily, so, if you aren’t watching how fast you play and how much you are betting you can spend a few hundred dollars an hour.
